I think it was “winter” last Tuesday. The cold winter weather lasted all of about 36 hours and then we were right back into the 70’s. I love it, it means my toes don’t get cold in my sandals and I can wear short sleeves most of the day. But, what’s even more important is that the fish love it. Water temps continue to be unseasonably high and the fish just won’t put down the feed bag. We’ve been getting into reds and trout and even though typically, snook fishing is a little slower this time of year, they have stopped cooperating. The weather forcast for the next 10 days seems to be much of the same. Higher temps than usual and that means the bit will stay strong.
